If you answered yes to these goals, Zonta Club membership may be for you.


Zonta International and the Zonta Club of Suffolk County Area membership is by invitation only.
Membership is a responsibility that requires time, resources, and financial commitments. We are an active service organization in Suffolk County and are committed to making a difference in the status of women in our own community and beyond.


Membership Eligibility and Classification
Membership is open to executives or professionals in recognized business, institution, or professional occupations based on Zonta classifications. Applicants must be working at least 50 percent of a normal week and willing to support the objectives of Zonta.

Member Responsibilities

  • Regularly attend club/committee meetings
  • Pay all dues, fees, and assessments promptly
  • Serve in leadership roles
  • Identify and recommend prospective new members.


Membership Process
Applications are reviewed by committee base on Zonta’s eligibility requirements. The membership committee then forwards the application for review and approval at the next monthly board meeting. If no member protests or questions your eligibility, you will be mailed a letter inviting you to join our club.
